Remember when you were a child and you were convinced that there was an evil monster under your bed? That intense feeling that something bad is going to happen and your life is not safe. An increased hart beat, transpiration and a weak feeling in your tummy. The tendency to run or hide, but in the same time frozenness in your whole system. The inability to say anything, as if your throat is blocked. Now you know better, but then it felt so real. However, we still experience feelings of anxiety from time to time even though we’ve grown up. This is completely normal and a healthy response in any threatening situation. It’s a primary protection mechanism that we all need as human beings in order to survive. A sense of fear activates our fight-fli...

A beautiful palette of colours is presenting itself as a masterpiece of art from ancient times. Blown away by the breeze of light. In your naivety being sucked into the magnificence made up in an overwhelming play of reflections. Merging in the ecstatic dance of the soft sky. Feeling connected with all there is. And you know what? Sometimes there is just nothing. Or only superficial layers that masquerade something totally different inside. A fata morgana. Blinded by the colours of illusion, we can’t see clearly. And our strong romantic beliefs in the ideal that must be real hamper us to feel what’s really real. Being fooled by the manipulation of reality where the artist wants to make us belief something. In our full adoration we’re being caug...

In the brightness of full light the darkest shadows appear. It’s magic, although it might not always feel like this. Especially when you’re standing in the full embracement of life. Feeling the comforting warmth of the sun shining in your neck. Touched by the hand of unconditional love in your back. Your head being held by the beauty of all there is. And then it’s there. Out of the blue. Right in front of you. The tricks of the mind showing you a version of yourself that is a bit out of proportion to say the least. There’s no escape to these unreal reflections that appear so real and show you parts of yourself that you haven’t seen before. Straight into your face. You can’t walk away. It makes you wonder. Doubt. Questioning who you really are....

Supta Baddha Konasana. Open your heart and breathe through the vulnerability of the pose. Before we can let go what no longer serves us, we have to be able to embrace it to the fullest and accept it in all its aspects. We often have the tendency to push everything away we don't want to be in our lives. To avoid. To numb. To not feel. By doing this, we're still holding on.  We can't let go of something which we haven't held.  Freedom comes if we open ourselves for that what wants to be released. Observe. Hold it in your hands. Embrace it. Look at it from a place of compassion and acceptance. And from here simply just be with whatever there is. Knowing that it's ok. We don't need an instant fix. We don't need to solv...

Life is not about how many breaths you take, but about the moments that take your breath away... Take a moment. Close your eyes. Feel your feet on the floor. Your presence in this very moment. Life as it is. You. Here. Now. Inhale the gift of life, stay with the upcoming tsunami of overwhelmingness, feel the electricity running through your veins, feel the current flowing through every cell of the precious beautiful being that you are. Stay there. It's ok. Find your inner smile while anchoring this moment more by deepening the connection with the ground underneath you. Feel. Exhale from deep down in your belly. Release. Let go. Sigh. You're here. Right now. No other place where you belong at this moment. In the safe haven of the present...

Know thyself and know this too shall pass. When you think you got it, you fall into another trap of your mind, tumbling down the rabbit hole of your whirling emotions. Upside down, inside out. Hit the bottom of your own set boundaries, which happened to be not so fixed in the end. Funny isn't it? Who do you think you were fooling? Or who is fooling you? Finding yourself in front of yes, another door. That surprisingly always opens if you try. So why would you keep it closed? Get up. You were not made to drown into that pool of self pity. Dry your tears. Open your eyes. What else is there? Burning curiosity with a bittersweet taste of nostalgia and a fear driven heartbeat. What if? No need. You can leave the door open, you won't go back...

Taking the road less traveled will lead you to the way to light. Although the path of the unknown may bring you to some dark places once in a while, there's always light at the end of the tunnel. Because of that you're able to see it so clearly. Don't lose your focus. It takes courage to follow your own path, especially when you don't know where to go and nobody is there to guide you. Do not fear. Let the sun be your guiding light on your endless journey of discovery. Every day is a new beginning. Keep on going. Walk the walk. Step by step. With the heartwarming sun on your face. Take a deep breath. Smile. You're on your way.
